PVH Auxiliary Tree of Life

The Penobscot Valley Hospital Auxiliary is gearing up for their annual “Tree of Life” fund raising event. The Tree of Life has become a special tribute to family and friends at such an important time of year. You can help their tree shine by making a donation. Each colored light on the tree represents a donation in memory of a loved one. A light in remembrance of a family member, friend, or military personnel is a wonderful tribute this holiday season.
Donation forms can be completed at the registration desks at PVH or you may download the application here. Simply complete the form and return it to the Auxiliary. Donations to this program help the auxiliary to fund non-traditional scholarships in the healthcare field, nursery bags for new moms and their babies, and add to the patients’ experience at the hospital.
Donors and their loved ones will also be recognized on a television monitor in the hospital’s cafeteria from December 6-31, 2012. The Auxiliary cordially invites you to attend the Tree of Life lighting ceremony, which will be held Thursday evening, December 6, 2012 at 6PM in the hospital parking lot near the helipad, weather permitting. Join us for refreshments following the tree lighting in the PVH cafeteria.
